It’s one of the many historical and famous landmarks in the world that I dream of seeing one day. The site is something to behold as what I’ve heard from people who’ve seen the magnificent statue.

My fiance’ visited New York a few years ago and it’s actually one of the many states that he likes to visit but he never got to see the statue up close. And as he said, the next time he visits New York will be with me and we will for sure see the statue up close. I can hardly wait! (“,)

Of the travel that I’m going to do pretty soon. I haven’t gone out of my native land or my country ever since. I did have plans before but it simply didn’t push through. And now here comes another travel. No assurance yet though of when it’s going to be but I’m pretty certain that it’s going to be so soon. Yes, I am anxious but I am also excited. Mixed emotions to its highest level, if I may say so. LOL.

I am anxious of the travel and of the new people that I’m going to meet but I’m definitely not anxious to see my fiance’ again. I’m super duper excited and I can’t wait for that day wherein I would see him face to face again and hold him. Soon…soon…soon…

Mom mentioned about Davao City earlier while talking to my sister and hearing that made me nostalgic. I then remembered my first trip to the city alone about a month ago. I was a little nervous but glad to have made it back and forth safe and sound. It wasn’t in the plan at all. It was an impromptu decision from Dad that day that the documents should be delivered to our client’s office. He was busy with a lot of things and he was thinking of Mom to do it but that was the time that my SIL gave birth so Mom can’t leave. And oh well, no one else is going to do it but me.

So, off I went. Left our city at already 12 noon and arrived in Davao City at almost 3 o’clock in the afternoon. That was the only time then that I had my lunch. Imagine that! Good thing my pets didn’t faint. LOL. I then went straight to the client’s office after lunch. It only took me about ten minutes to have a little talk with our client’s secretary. That fast! I left, went to the mall to meet a friend supposedly but I was running out of time and she’s still about an hour away to meet me. I still have to catch a bus and travel again for three hours back to our city. After much thought, I’ve decided that I will not meet her anymore and left, off to the bus terminal.
I arrived here in the city at passed 8 o’clock in the evening already. Dad and Yogi fetched me at the bus terminal and that’s it, my adventure for that day ended. The travel was tiring not to mention, kind of scary because the bus driver was a little reckless. Glad I still got in the city alive!
…togetherness can be the reason for misunderstanding. Spending time apart gives you new stories to share and help you grow as a person. When you see each other a little less, you value your time together more.

This is a thought that a friend shared with me. It is true but I must say, it can be applied on a case to case basis. It may be a hit for some but not for some because we are all unique individuals. Some may like it as it is but others don’t.

For me, I don’t really believe in it. I would prefer if I see my partner every day and we were okay with that. I am referring to my previous relationship though, with my late hubby. We were inseparable. At present, I am in a long distance relationship but that didn’t hinder us from feeling each other’s presence every single day. Thanks to the new technology. We communicate through the internet and through phone. If not for it, we would have to wait for one whole month for the snail mail to keep each other posted. How sad could it have been. Hehe.
