On To Eastward

It wasn’t in my plan, but after getting tired of browsing the web and feeling a little ache on the head, I opted to lay down in bed around early afternoon. I know I needed to close my eyes and rest it, but I didn’t know that I would really doze. I crashed and burned and if not for my fiance’ giving me his second call for the day, I wouldn’t have woke up. I was actually surprised to see the clock. It was almost 5 o’clock in the afternoon.

Boy, that was really a long nap. I felt so sluggish when I got up, but I need to because it is almost time to prepare for dinner. I wonder why I felt so tired. As if a ran on the field, huh? I haven’t had my nap for a while so maybe that’s it.

Maybe I should need to take a nap or even just catnaps everyday so I would be able to rest my tired eyes. I think I will do that. But things might change. We’ll see.

Yep, Hallmark the bookstore. I used to only see their name in greeting cards because they don’t have a store in our country so I was really excited when our good friend, Ms. Carol took us there on Saturday. I had to take photos for remembrance but I am yet to download them.

They were having a closing sale, everything is 50% off. Great! We were shopping for wedding goodies and Ms. Carol thought of the place. They did have some goodies that we were looking for but some of them were just expensive even with the deal. But we did get some plastic fork to use for the reception and Ms. Carol paid for them.

She’s really a sweet person and I just can’t thank her enough for being so supportive and helpful. Thanks heaven for Ms. Carol! (“,)

“Weather forecast: Winter storm warning remains in effect from midnight tonight to 6 a.m. est Tuesday. Heavy snow late tonight, mixed with sleet and freezing rain at times, Monday and Monday night.”

This was the forecast yesterday and indeed, we woke up to about seven inches of snow this morning. It already stopped snowing but not until about an hour ago. But as told, there will still be more today or tonight. The snow from last night until this morning was dry but what we will have tonight as they say would be different. It will be wet and as my fiance’ told me, more often than not, that kind will lead to problems like power outages and stuff.

Oh boy! I just hope we will not have power outages tonight or I will probably freeze to death. I am already freezing cold now. What more without the furnace running? Brrr!!!
