My good friend, Mabelle, is due to give birth at the end of July. It will be a baby girl and I can’t wait to see her. I can still remember the hard times that she went through during the first trimester of her pregnancy but before I know it, she’ll have already given birth. Then she will be sending Baptism invitations and then first birthday invitations and so on. Thinking about those things make me feel old. LOL.

Oh well, I am pretty aware that I am not getting any younger. And actually, I am thinking that in the near future, I will be giving away wedding invitations for my son’s wedding too. Uh-oh!

Yes, the husband informed me yesterday that we are going somewhere today and he doesn’t want to tell me where. He didn’t even give me a hint. And I don’t have the slightest idea on where we’re headed. He said it will be a surprise. He has been so sneaky lately.

Yesterday’s trip to the nearby town to attend a memorial picnic gathering was such a short notice. He didn’t tell me about it until two days before that. And now this one. He even told me that he’s got another surprise tomorrow, Memorial Day. It’s my first celebration of Memorial Day here and though I’ve heard about celebrating it with a picnic, I still don’t know what to expect. Maybe we’ll have barbeque at our backyard. Hmmm, remains to be seen. But I am giddy with excitement. (“,)

My husband and I have been married for almost four months now and you know what? Up to this time, there are still things about him that I don’t know about and that really surprises me. One thing, he’s way more energized than I am. He’s a lot older than me, but oh boy, his endurance is simply admirable.

I figured that out after our 12 hour road trip to Tennessee and Kentucky last weekend. I was exhausted after the trip, but my husband didn’t show any tiredness at all. I believe he gained that from being into rigid exercises in his younger years. Tell you what, he doesn’t need the best creatine supplements there are. That’s my man!!!

Yesterday’s road trip to Tennessee and Kentucky was tiring, but we definitely enjoyed our time on the road. I was with my son and husband plus my husband’s stepson and his son. My husband was on a mission of chasing down his ancestral legacy and it took us to places that were literally in the middle of nowhere, but we were able to see the beauty of the country that is certainly a must-see.

We all had fun, but we all were happy to get home after about 12 hours on the road. That was exhausting and I do wonder how much fat I burned just by sitting inside the car for so many hours. If we continue to do that, I don’t think I need to pursue reading about oxyelite pro side effects because I guess I won’t be needing it anymore. Teehee.

While I am writing this, I can hear the sound of the mower from the yard, and that is because the husband is busy mowing. Our land is almost two acres so just imagine how much work there is to be done every spring when the weeds are sprouting and all. He mows the yard every two weeks to make sure that it will not turn into a jungle. LOL.

I went outside a few minutes ago to check on him and he sure is having fun while riding on his riding mower while listening to his fave music on his walkman. He waved at me as he saw me with that lovely smile on his face, and I can tell, it’s always fun for him to mow the yard. He’s been mowing it for years and he always looks forward to mowing it again and again. Good boy! (“,)
