My son and I finally got our permanent resident cards – the last piece of the puzzle that we plus my very supportive and kind husband have been working on. We will have no more of those anxious feelings because of the waiting period or collecting documents to submit or lawyer appointments. That was the last part of what my husband paid for, unless he will get his service again for the renewal of our cards.
He haven’t decided on that one yet, but I think we don’t need a lawyer anymore. Our lawyer was a good one, but it will only be a renewal so we pretty well know what to prepare and do. Not to mention, it will save us beaucoup money. But I will not hesitate to ask for his help again or any of those raleigh nc attorneys if we badly need it.
This has been the book that my hands have been holding and my eyes have been reading lately. I guess I need not explain further why. Or maybe I do. For certain, you know why I am reading it. Yes, and that is in preparation for my learner’s permit examination. But you might wonder why only now. You were probably asking yourself, “She still doesn’t know how to drive?” You bet I am. LOL.
Well, back in my home country, it’s not really a must-do since we do have our public mode of transportation. I can go anywhere I wanted without driving. When I got here in the land of Uncle Sam, things were different. Although they do have buses here, the bus stop is way too far from where we live. Thus, the need for me to learn how to drive so I can go anywhere I want not to mention, take my son to school and so on and so forth.
I’ve been studying the handbook for weeks now and I am definitely ready to take the exam. Yeah!!!
My 8-year-old son received a play station 2 from my husband’s best friend on Christmas of 2010. It didn’t come with video games so my husband took him for a trip to the nearest gamestop store where video games abound. There were a lot to choose from and my son didn’t know which one to get first. He was allowed to only get two that time.
But that was a year ago, and that was only the first trip to the store. It’s been followed by a few trips, the last one being Christmas of last year. And I think he is still not satisfied with what he got. His reason, he’s just tired of the games he has. Thus, he is asking for a new one. Wish I can get me some gamestop coupons so at least we could save. Maybe I need to be resourceful and look, huh? I’ll do just that.
