The weather has been warm and glorious lately and we’ve enjoyed it immensely. But today it took a 360 turn. It was raining when we got up and although the rain stopped in the mid-morning, it was gloomy and damp the whole day. Not too good for people who planned to sun bathe, huh? But they can always buy tanning supplies and tan themselves the way they want without the help of the sun.

For certain they are thankful those products were invented. They don’t have to depend on the sun all the time and enjoy tanning anytime and anywhere they want. Cool products never fail to satisfy people.

My Dad Turns 66 Today

Yep, my dad is surely having a good long life. And although I wasn’t there to celebrate with them, I already knew how they are going to celebrate his birthday. I’ve talked to my mom the other day and they will just dine out in this famous seafood restaurant with the whole family. How I wish I am there because I really missed eating fresh seafood – something that I didn’t get to experience here.

He’s Been Introducing Us to His Country, Our New Home

After enjoying the trips the three of us have had since last year, the husband and I have decided that it will be a yearly ritual for us. We will go on trips every year, even once or even twice or thrice. It will depend on his schedule at work first; then the budget comes next.

He needs a break from work from time to time, thus, the trips. We are actually taking another road trip soon – our last for this year, I guess. And I am certainly getting giddy just by the thought of it. But before I totally get high about it, let me continue reading about fixed annuities rates first. I came across it today and like what I always do, when I came across something new, I make sure I read it. It always pays to read after all.

I am always anxious and excited whenever we have a trip coming up. Anxious with the packing because I am afraid I might forget something even though I always make sure I make a list. Though I must admit, I almost forgot about the expandable foam bag, but at the last minute, I remembered.

And excited, of course, for a lot of reasons. I don’t think I need to enumerate them one by one because I do believe you know how a trip can be something worth looking forward to.

We had a blast on our recent road trip. All went well and I didn’t mess up with the packing. It was simply perfect! What a trip! I just loved it!

Fantastic Road Trip

Yep, it surely was!!!

It was an eight-hour drive, but surprisingly, it wasn’t tiring compared to our summer road trip last year. I guess the weather had something to do with it. It was not hot when we left Saturday which was really perfect.

And my husband who drove all the way – back and forth – took his precious time. He didn’t fly on the highways like some of those drivers. My husband has always been a good driver. Kudos, honey!

And I can’t thank God enough too for blessing our way and making our trip safe and sound.

Now, I can’t wait for our next road trip. I’m definitely looking forward to that one!

Music is His Greatest Love, Other Than Me, That Is

The husband and I have been talking every night about our upcoming trip. Where to go, what to check, what to try, et cetera. And guess what is one among the itineraries chosen? To check a music store. I guess the city that we’re going to visit is known to offer the best in musical instruments and hardware. Does that include a Bill Lawrence hum bucker electric guitar pickup? That I don’t know, but that is certainly one thing that my husband wanted to check. Him and his music!

Reunion Time for Old Friends

I’ve been talking about our upcoming road trip, but I didn’t mention what we’re up to, did I? Well, the main purpose for this one is to attend the Christening of my good friend’s son. This good friend of mine and I haven’t seen each other for a long time now and that’s why I am so excited about this trip. Not only that, she will be serving Filipino dishes at the reception which is something that I miss the most from my home country so this trip is really something that I’m looking forward to.

I might be needing the help of adipotrol when I get back because surely I will pig out at the reception…LOL. Something like this happens once in a blue moon so I will certainly make the most of it!

Uber Excited

Yep, I am…with our upcoming trip that is. I even posted it as my Facebook status this morning and my family and friends wondered what I am excited about. I didn’t tell them yet because I want to put some thrill on it. Hehe. They will find out about it once I already posted the photos. Then they will be surprised, no doubt.

I really can’t wait. And here’s hoping and praying for a safe and sound trip for us!!!

Road Trip…Here We Come!!!

We are certainly counting down the days for our upcoming road trip. We are all excited and we already shopped for the things that we are going to take with us to the trip.

It might not be a long vacay, but still, we have things to pack. Fortunately, we don’t need packing materials to use in our suitcases. I will be making a list today on what things we need to bring so I will not miss a thing which is the last thing that I want to happen. I am getting giddy with excitement!

I wonder how my cousin in Nova Scotia is doing. We’ve been keeping in touch on Facebook regularly, but she hasn’t had recent updates lately which is something unusual because she is the type who is always present and has always something to say on Facebook. The last photos she downloaded were those taken on Canada day.

I sent her private messages, but no reply just yet. I can’t call her because my phone doesn’t have long distance service. My husband and I opted not to get it because I can talk with my family back home through Skype .

I do hope she’s doing fine and just plainly busy.
